Applications will be accepted until 10:00 am on March 21st, 2025. The Civil Service physical agility testing will begin promptly at 9:30 am on Saturday, March 29th,, 2025 at the Davis County Highschool Track, at 503 E Locust St, Bloomfield, Iowa. The physical testing will be followed by the written exam at the Davis County Law Center at 102 Anderson St, Bloomfield, Iowa. Current certified Peace Officers will be exempt from testing. The test shall be administered in accordance with the uniform rules and regulations of the director of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy pursuant to Chapter 80B, Code of Iowa. Application for the Deputy Sheriff’s position will be accepted 10:00 am on March 21st, 2025 at the Davis County Sheriff’s Office, 102 Anderson St, Bloomfield, Iowa. The Written examination of those who qualify on the physical examination will take place directly after the physical exam at the Davis County Sheriff’s Office.
